Amidst a ton of recent news about iPhone developers not being able to support a viable business selling .99¢ apps, comes a story about Ethan Nicholas, who pulled together a $3 app in his spare time, that netted him a cool half-million in a month’s-worth of App store sales.

Seems to me that there’s a slim difference between .99¢ and $2.99, which proves, to me at least, that it’s not so much about the price of an application as it is about creating the right application and doing it well.
